Attic Conversion - Carbis Bay

We were back for repeat work for a lovely family in Carbis Bay, this is the second attic conversion on the same road in two years for Blue Wave. Works were carried out over a 3 month period and comprised of the following (all services carried out by Blue Wave:)

  • Architectural drawings and design (carried out in-house)

  • Planning Application (Successful application by Blue Wave)

  • Appointment of Structural Engineer (Harban & Redwood Consulting Engineers)

  • Appointment of Building Control (Stroma Building Control)

  • Full project management (on going by Blue Wave)

  • Construction (on going by Blue Wave)

  • Electrical (on going by Blue Wave)

  • Plumbing (on going by Blue Wave)

The works comprised of a new second floor level which involved the installation of 5 steel beams and a new staircase. All structural elements were designed by a structural engineer and overseen by building control (Stroma). The new additional floor comprised of two bedrooms and an additional bathroom.
